Thai Home Craft Cuisine · Nan, Thailand
Like coming home for dinner — Thai home cooking just like Mum’s, cooked fresh for every order, in a wooden house on Suriyaphong Road in the heart of Nan.
“เสน่หา” อิ่มเอมจิตรสครัวผูกสายใยทุกจานบอกความนัยคำหนึ่งยังตรึงจิตเจือใจ ญาติมิตรจากแม่ ตราบสิ้นกาล
The verse painted on our dining-room wall
“Saneha” — a heart made full. Flavours from the kitchen tie us together; every dish carries a meaning, one bite stays in the mind — shared with family and friends, from mother, for all time.
Serving Nan since 20 July 2026
Our Story
Behind every plate at Saneha is Chef “Tik” Thornthan Pathomthananphat, founder and chef-owner, whose joy has always been cooking for family and friends. That joy became this Thai restaurant in the centre of Nan, where Poy looks after every table with warmth. (“Saneha” means affection, or tender love, in Thai.)
A Thai curry is never just ingredients pounded together. It begins with choosing the chillies, herbs and coconuts; then slicing, pounding, the order of each ingredient, frying the curry paste, controlling the fire, and tasting and adjusting, little by little. Every step shapes the flavour.
A single Thai dish holds more stories than we can see — and more value than we think.

Kind words
A new restaurant, and really delicious. Some dishes look simple but they’re anything but. The pomelo salad with gourami — all the stars in the sky.
The food comes from the heart, drawing flavour from the ingredients rather than seasoning — no MSG. There’s a restaurant and a tea room, the sweets are lovely, and the atmosphere is great.
Delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere.
Honoured to host a delegation from the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Nan Office.
